Fire update

Hi everyone,

I've gotten a few calls and emails asking about the wildfires here. First off, we are all fine. We had a lot of smoke here on Sunday, but Monday and today the smoke seems to be clearing. The fires are about 30 miles away from us, but there are a couple of the fires that are very close to my work. They sent everyone home yesterday, and today they have told us that we don't have to come in if we don't want to. For me, the highway between home and work is closed so going in to work would be a colossal pain. I've been working from home, which is fine. A few of my friends have had to evacuate their homes, but they are back in them now. Please keep the people that are affected in your thoughts and prayers, but thankfully they are not us.
