Happy Father's Day!

Happy Dad's day, everyone! Jon seemed to enjoy his first one, and the babies were very well behaved for him on his special day. They even gave him a special treat. We had started trying to teach the babies sign language so they could tell us what they want before they could talk. But then I had stopped as it was frustrating. I didn't know, but Jon kept going. Every morning when he got up to feed the babies (yes, he does that almost every morning!), he would sign "milk, milk." And today, they answered back! All three of them signed back milk today. And this evening, when they had finished, they signed for more milk! So it was a very special day, their first sign. :)

The other big news is that all of the babies are now crawling. Anna crawls fast and frenetically and everywhere and then pulls herself up to stand by furniture. Mattie crawls well, but slowly and thoughtfully. She ventured into the kitchen today, but was somewhat pensive about doing so. Noah is still working on it, but can make it a few feet. Then he gets annoyed and rolls over. I'm sure he'll be chasing Anna any day now though.
